I never really intended to start a blog so obviously titled and perhaps indicating a fickle focus on just fashion and shoes, but then a week ago I was given some fantastic news: I had been chosen as the winner of net-a-porter.com's Ultimate Shoe Subscription Competition. Yes, that's right folks, I'd won myself a year's supply of designer shoes (of my choosing!) from one of my favourite online boutiques. My winfall inspired me to start blogging to follow my year long shopping journey (and everything that happens in between) and so, in honour of this year's shoe journey, "A Shoe Affair" begins.
