My year-long reign of the 'Shoe Subscription' competition winner is almost up and I'm sure the new winner is soon to be announced. I am so excited for them! And with that, I have been frantically trying to think of the other must-have items I need to add to my wardrobe. I absolutely adore my classic black Louboutins but seeing as the ones I wanted weren't available I just snapped up these when they came up.
And thank god I did because they sold out pretty quickly!
The 100 height has and always been my favourite but this heel is much finer than others, which makes it more of a special occasion black pump methinks.
But I love the asymmetric toebox that gives some awesome toe cleavage. Again this is my sister modelling.
Mmm nothing like a sexy red sole!
Oh my goodness! So happy to have found your blog as I am the winner for this year's Ultimate Shoe Subscription! Really want the Louboutin's you have chosen. I hope NAP get some more in. Still trying to decide on my first pair to get. Any advice?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness a huge CONGRATULATIONS! I totally know how you must feel - I feel so lucky to have been the first ever winner and to pass the baton onto you :)
ReplyDeleteDepends on your style but my advice is to pace yourself and not try and spend all the money at once. Awesome things WILL come in stock I'm sure - I'm glad I waited because some of the things I got have been amazing. Actually I still have some credit left so I'm still waiting to think what last items I should get.
A classic black pair of Louboutins are always perfect though, regardless of your style ;)
Oh and I'm so glad you found my blog, how coincidental! How did you manage to find it, by the way? :)
ReplyDeleteI googled Ultimate Shoe Subscription as I was trying to find details of my prize until they contacted me and just came across it. I'd had the same idea about blogging what I got! I really hope they get more black Louboutin pumps in stock as they are my dream pair! I have decided my first pair will be the YSL tribute sandals don't want to miss out on those! Glad to hear you get to spend whatever credit is left! Enjoy your shoes! X
ReplyDeleteGreat pair. I just got this pair size 34 recently on net a porter too. This is my first loubies, and I have mixed feelings for this pair. I love how classic and versatile it is, but my toes show too much in this pair ( is it normal ??). And how can u take care of the shoes ? Thanks so much !!
ReplyDeleteTina
Hi Tina, thanks for visiting! The toe cleavage is totally normal and I think it makes it look even more unique ;) You can get vibram rubber soles in red to protect/look after the soles but still retain the signature red colour so I would suggest doing that if you're worried! Otherwise just wear the shoes with style and don't worry about ruining them :)
ReplyDeleteHi there!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if the Corneille's cutting is slimmer than the usual or if it's slighting broader in the front?
Thanks!
I think its pretty much the normal Louboutin cut - just be aware with the lower toe cleavage that it may feel perhaps a bit 'bigger' because your foot can slip out more...
DeleteIts not slimmer than normal because its not a sharp pointy toe, but nor is it broader (though it may look it from the illusion of the toe box)
i went to the louboutin store in singapore and the staff was not helpful at all. they didn't have corneilles for me to try either. so anyway, i ordered it online in nude ostrich leather and it fits so well. thanks to your advice! :)
Deletei forgot to mention that it's great 'cos i've got bunions and most louboutins are too slim for me :)
DeleteLove the shoes! I was considering ordering them as well. Do you have any advice on how they fit and if they are true to size? TIA!
ReplyDeleteFor me, they're definitely true to size (so I wear the same size I always do in CL). Hope that helps! :)
DeleteThanks for the response!
